THIS REALLY IS A BOOK FIT FOR A KING

Erik, hello!  Oh, my what a treasure you've sent me!   A splendid job.

It’s amazing so much information with never before seen photos... I'm speechless.  Elvis would be, too, I thinks. I will cherish this.

Erik, again, thank you.  With lots of hugs and love.

The Elvis Files...an introduction....

The Elvis Files volumes 1-7 carefully documents almost every single day of Elvis Presley's life from the 1953 to 1977, covering everything from what he wore onstage to whom he meet that day. Each book contains 500 pages. Packed with over 1300 images, many of them never seen before, interviews and concert reviews.
This is a labour of love for me, says Erik Lorentzen, author and long time Elvis fan, who has found images and information never revealed before.

The Elvis Files - a must for every fan.....

The new and improved Elvis Files website is THE perfect way to check out and purchase The Elvis Files series of Books and related Books from the Author including the incredible Elvis - The King Of Las Vegas.

"This is the best book about Elvis I ever have seen.
- Elvis would have been so proud of this".

Elvis Files Vol Two

NOW DIG THIS | Gordon Minto

Quality costs, but is usually worth it. This principle is amply illustrated by the second volume of The Elvis Files. Those of you familiar with the first volume released last year (which covered the 1960-64 period) will know that unlike most books about Elvis (and the number is incalculable), this is a book worthy of serious consideration, though weighing in a almost 3.5 kg and running well in excess of 500 pages, it is neither for the physically weak nor the faint-hearted. And when I say it is coffee-table size, I mean that almost literally!

As mentioned, very few of the innumerable Elvis books are worth a toss. Overall, Elvis has not been well-served by those who chose to write about him......

Elvis Files Vol Three

EIN | Piers Beagley

In publishing the book Lorentzen has also used a large number of well-known contributors including Rex Martin, Trevor Cajiao (Elvis the Man & His Music), Chris Giles, Patrick Janssen (Elvis Presley Images), Pal Granlund (‘Flaming Star’ fan club & many books) and Joe Pirzada just to name a few. It is an impressive list of acknowledgments.

The first book published in the six part series is surprisingly Volume 3 – I guess due to the fact that this is a lesser-explored area of Elvis’ work in photo books! (Next issue I am told will be Volume 2)

About the Author..Erik Lorentzen

Erik saw Elvis in concert many times throughout the 70`s. The first time was in New York at Madison Square Garden (1972). The following year, ('73) he got to meet his hero backstage at Nassau Coliseum, together with Pål Granlund, Per Granberg, Yngvar Holm, and Kari Lundstedt. In 1975 Erik meet Elvis in Vegas with Pål Ganlund. In 1976 Erik saw his hero many times. Both whilst On Tour and during his Vegas engagements.
